Commission me

I'm an artist, designer and teacher of Art and Design. I work in and teach a broad range of materials and processes, moving fluidly from one discipline to the other.

 

I enjoy working collaboratively and to a specific brief, solving problems with creative, VISUAL solutions and working to a tight deadline.

Alongside 25 years of teaching experience, previous clients include the British Library and the Royal National Theatre.

​

Please, don't be scared at the breadth of the portfolio I offer. The flexibility of approach allows you to find the work that suits your project.

Projects and commissions might include

• exhibition or theatre design and construction

• graphic imagery for weddings and significant birthdays

• story-boarding

• digital image development 

• garden sculpture

​

In addition, I offer workshops to classes of up to 25 students at one time, from 8 years old to 118!! Or lead a team of specialist practitioners teaching larger groups.

workshops include

• found or ceramic sculpture, including mask-making and fantastic creatures

• block printing

• Japanese/Chinese brush and ink

• Indonesian batik and kite-making

• life drawing and costume design

Day rate £275

5 day project/workshops for classes of up to 15 students [8yrs old to 118 !!] £800; 15-25 students £900; larger group costs on application.

+ materials and travel expenses.

I am happy to negotiate a fee with you for longer projects or residencies.
