Work with and for schools
I have been teaching Art and Design to children from 5 years old through to 19, for over 25 years, enabling them to achieve excellence, take pride in their work and love learning.
In 2021, I escaped the intensity of a full-time secondary post, and now bring bespoke creative workshops into schools and community centres, teaching children and young people to work as teams or develop their own imagery and ideas with independence and confidence to create the wonderful.
Whether they're creating a mural, building a sculpture or developing fine observation skills, my aim is to inspire confidence and joy in every child that I teach.
Recent commissions:-
Recent projects include murals for schools in London and Coventry, using a collage technique which I have developed which enables every child working, even in large groups/classes to contribute their own artwork to the whole image. Other commissions for faith schools in the West Midlands region including sculptures of a deer and raven for St Benedict's Atherton and a new cycle of murals illustrating Christ's parables for Kineton School, South Warwickshire.
